Terms of Service

Welcome to Sellaro ("we", "us", "Sellaro"). By creating an account, browsing, bidding, buying, or selling on Sellaro, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. Sellers must complete identity verification before listing items.

2. Your account

• You're responsible for all activity on your account. Keep your password secret.
• We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law.
• Notify us at security@sellaro.live if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Marketplace role

Sellaro is a venue. We are not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers. We do not own, inspect, or store the items listed. We provide tools — payments, escrow, dispute resolution, ratings, verification — to make trades safer.

4. Bids and purchases

• Bids are binding offers. The highest valid bid when an auction ends wins.
• Buy Now purchases are immediate, binding sales.
• Funds for paid orders are held in escrow until delivery is confirmed or the dispute window closes.
• High-value items may require buyer card or identity verification per the seller's settings.

5. Fees and commissions

Sellaro charges a commission on each successful sale. The rate depends on the item category and the seller's subscription plan and is shown to the seller before listing. Stripe processing fees may also apply. See the seller plans page for current rates.

6. Prohibited items and conduct

You may not list counterfeit goods, recalled products, weapons, controlled substances, hateful or illegal content, or anything restricted by our Acceptable Use Policy.

7. Disputes and chargebacks

Open disputes through your dashboard within 7 days of delivery (or expected delivery). We may mediate, refund, or require return shipping. Chargebacks bypassing this process may result in account suspension.

8. Intellectual property

You retain rights to content you upload but grant Sellaro a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and promote it within the service. See our DMCA Policy to report infringement.

9. Disclaimers

Sellaro is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee item authenticity except where explicitly marked "Authenticated by Sellaro". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to fees you paid us in the prior 12 months.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms with notice where reasonable.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, except where prohibited.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. We'll notify users of material changes by email or in-app banner at least 14 days before they take effect.
