Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Sellaro collects, why, who we share it with, and your rights.

1. What we collect

• Account data: email, display name, profile photo, optional phone.
• Verification data: government ID and selfie when you opt into identity verification, processed by Stripe Identity. We store only a yes/no result and a reference ID, not the documents themselves.
• Payment data: card and bank details are tokenized by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
• Transactions: bids, purchases, shipping addresses, messages, reviews.
• Usage data: pages viewed, shows watched, device/browser, IP, approximate location.
• Live shows: chat messages, recordings (if the seller enables recording), and reactions.

2. Why we use it

• Provide and improve the marketplace.
• Process payments, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.
• Personalize recommendations and notifications.
• Support, dispute resolution, and trust & safety.

3. Who we share data with

• Sellers/Buyers: we share shipping addresses with sellers and seller usernames with buyers to complete orders.
• Service providers: Stripe (payments + identity), Shippo (shipping labels), Cloudflare (hosting/CDN), Lovable Cloud (database), analytics (aggregated only).
• Law enforcement: when required by valid legal process.
• We do not sell personal data.

4. Your rights

You can access, export, correct, or delete your account data at any time from your account settings or by emailing privacy@sellaro.live. California (CCPA), EEA/UK (GDPR), and other residents have additional rights, including the right to object and to lodge complaints with your regulator.

5. Retention

We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and up to 7 years thereafter to meet tax and dispute obligations. Recordings of live shows are retained for 90 days unless the seller saves them.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted via Row-Level Security and role-based controls. We require leak-checked passwords on signup.

8. Children

Sellaro is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes

If we make material changes, we'll notify you in-app or by email 14 days in advance.
